If you want to be a lecturer of any subject first of all you need to be a post graduate . After completion ofb post graduation , you need to sit for UGC-Net examination. The examination is conducted twice a yaer i.e in the month of may and December. On claerinh UGC-Net exam you will be eligible to apply for the position of lecturer in any organization

As far as teaching si concerned it all depends that whether you want to become a TGT( Trained Graduate Teacher) or PGT ( Post Graduate Tecaher) . To become a TGT , you need to pursue B.Ed. ( Bachelor of Education) or ETT ( Elementry teacher Training) . To become PGT , you have to folow the same procedure after completion of your post graduation. To get admission in B.Ed, you have to sit for an entrance examination.

After completion of B.Ed or ETT , you have to clear CTET ( Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

Hi

There is no age bar for education, it is up to your mind set, comfortability, and zeal to acheive certain things in life. You are having same moto in your life, therefore I would like guide you wuth several illustrations or pathways to prepare yourself:

1. Irrespective of any academic background, i suggest you to finish your all the subjects starting from class 8th -12th preferebly from NCERT which help you to strengthen and refresh you with updated basics.

2. Now you asses your interest after reading all the fundamentals, at the same time you are giving a fair trial at different age, understanding of any subject is very much proportional to the age group. It will help you to sort out the confusion related to career objectives.

3. Once you are through with your interest of subject and then starrt to explore the relevent profession. Like you have developed very good understanding with Maths, Physics, Chemistry then you must go with the subjects whether you are preparing for Education officer at state level, PCS, Bachelor in Education, or commerical sector like probationary officer, clerical, Upper Divsional Clerck, Lower Division clerck conducted by UPSC

4. Simialrly if you are interested to pursue higher degree in the subject of your interest then get admitted in any good university either in online or offline mode in another term fulltime or parttime course, as you know several universities like Osmania, Amity, IGNOU, Symbiosis etc are offering quality education program in management, education, law, sciences you must explore these webesite and get registered online. Try to prefer offline fulltime course which require your time and effort in multiplication and for that good reason your family background is crucial.
5. Try to see the course structure of your subject from any good universitie Like DU, JNU, KU, NEHU, PU etc offering the compatable course which can offer very good placement.
6. Once you are admitted then give your hundred percent to score max CGPA TGPA with the current sciences and General Knowledge. As you know thinking about goal without hard work can sink you anytime so best to do for the basic development and then attempt your target in appropriate manner.

Best

Dear friend, I appreciate your question, let me first tell you, at any time in your life youc can start your education and make your career. In your question, you have not mentioned the subject in which you have done graduation. Since you are a home maker and also blessed with kids, I woulld like to suggest you that job of lectuere will suit you most.

You have also mentioned that banking is also an option for you. Let me tell you about both. For banking job, if you are a graduate in commerce, then it will certainly help you. If not still no problem. Every year, many banks invite applications for probationary officers, the basic educational requirement is graduation. You just apply and appear. But you have plan before hand about the exam. Please see the previous years question papers, you will get an idea, what types of questions are asked in the enetance exam. There are many magazines related to competition exams, these will give you idea of examination pattern and also about current affairs.

Whether you are planning to join banking sector or as lecturer, you have to keep update about current affairs, by regular reading of news papers, listening or watching news. If possible make some good and helping friends, they will definitely help you. You may also take admission (correspondance) in banking courses offfered by IGNOU or Kota University.

If you wish to join as lecturer, first you have to do masters degree in any one subject of your graduation. You shoud also prepare for national Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by CSIR-UGC related to your post graduation subject. There are many private collges and institutes, which can induct you after your masters degree and NET certificate. After post graduation you are technically qualified for the job of a lecturer, but to due to severe competition, a doctoral degree is must to get entry into the governmental colleges or university.

Still you are not far from your destination, just think, plan and execute. Since you are in family now and have lots of responsibilities, therefore, you have to plan your time very meticulously. You have to find time to read, prepare notes and may be to attend classes.

With all my best wishes,

Good Luck
