A student who wish to make a career in the defense sector after 10th they can join the defense sector through the National Defense Academy. The National Defense Academy exams are conducted for the students who wish to join the any defense wing that is Army, Navy and Air Force can join it through the NDA exams. NDA exams are conducted every year through the UPSC for the recruitment in the defense sector it seems from your query that you are student of Arts field you are eligible to join the defense sector to NDA exam after 12th in defense sector you can join the Army wing as the student of any faculty is eligible to join the Army through the NDA exam. If you wish to go for the Navy, or Air Force wing. You should have studied the subject’s physics and Math’s in your 12th STD but as you do not have the subject’s physics and mathematics in your 12th you are not eligible to go for Air Force and Navy. The NDA exams are conducted twice in year in the month of April and September. A student should be an unmarried and should have the age between 16 ½ to 19 years. The NDA exam is conducted only for the male candidates. After qualifying the NDA exam a student is given 3 years of training in their respective preferred wings. After completing the 3 years of training an NDA you will also need to undergo for 1 year training at IMA. The NDA exam a pattern is as follows:
