Dear Aspirant,
Christ University is among the top Universities in India as per the Survey in 2015. It is one of the top Universities for general courses.
However if you are aiming for a law course from top law schools, then you should definitely go for National Law Universities in India. These Law Universities are alike IIT, IIM but focused on Law education.
National Law University, DelhiNational Law University, BangaloreNational Law University, JodhpurGujarat National Law University, Gujarat
You will have to appear for CLAT, which is a Common Law Admission Test for entry into National Law Universities listed above.
With a Degree in Law from one of the above Universities, your career in Law is secured and progressive.
Best wishes
Sir I opted for flat but couldn't make it and every survey placed it amongst top 15
Hi There,
Since you have asked about the best institute and Christ College being ranked in that list.
As dr Anand has rightly said as such Christ University has a good ranking but not with anything specific.
Since you wish and everyone wishes to graduate from the best known University, National LAW college would and should be your choice.
But please note that just graduating from the best college does not mean you are the only person eligible to work as a Lawyer. It ultimately depends on your potentials and the way your present them. A good college is the only entry route to your dream job.
Never-the-less, if you have the potentials, a LAW degree from any college can be beneficial though initial stages can be a bit of struggle.
As a piece of advise, I would suggests, do not waste a year, take admission in the next best college and continue preparations for CLAT, for the next year.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck....
Ma'am my next best option would be Christ university
Ranking by agencies are not always perfect. They can't be perfect. There are many ranking agencies for higher education in India and if you see each agencies ranking for a same college or Institute differs.
National Law Universities are proven and known to impart best law education and naturally placements is a resultant product.
I know sir different agencies do come up wid different rankings but one thing common amongst them is nlus being on the top and Christ school of law being amongst the top 15 all I wanted to know was if its a good option to studylaw and I had a talk wid one of ur guys at merecareer.com over phone and he told me to go to it without thinking at all
Though it is among top 15 Law Schools, NLSUs are preferred. If there is a national level University which is established under an Act of Parliament, why to settle for a lower ranked University? This is my question to you.
Hello There,
Adding on to Dr. Anand reply.
If you have the potentials for the top level college, go head on and do not settle in for compromise.
In-case if you have the potentials but still are unable to get into the best University, but passion is there for the subject, choose the second best again without thinking twice and trying to get a recognition for your choice.
As I have said earlier, be confident about your talent and do not just bang on to the ranking of the University.
Wish you good luck...
