The career you have chosen, IAS is excellent choice. From your query I can very well understand that you are aware that for appearing for Civil services, you need to be a graduate first.

Apart from MBBS,you have many options like:
  • Pharmacy: A 4 years undergraduate course, whereby you would learn about production, formulation and maintenance of medicines. After graduation you could find employment with various pharma company into either production or maintenance or as a Medical writer
  • BDS: A 4 years dentistry course. To secure admission, you would have to clear entrance exams
  • B.ScPhysiotherapy:A 4 years undergraduate course, again entrance exams to secure admission. This course mainly deals with muscular related issues
  • Nutrition andDietetics: Mainly the nutritionists that we come across
  • B.ScVeterinarysciences: A 4 years graduate course, again admission through entrance exams. Mainly dealing with animals and their issues
  • Paramedical: Basically courses related to paramedical services like nursing, lab technician
  • B.Sc Biotechnology: A 4 years undergraduate course.Mainly related to development related to new tech machines for better health purposes
  • B.ScMicrobiology: A 4 years undergraduate course, mainly dealing with issues related to microbes in humans

As far as educational loans are concerned, you could get help from banks, which provides educational loans with easy payment options and low rate of interest. Also study hard and then apply for scholarships which would take care of your study expenses right from books,to stationery to traveling to stationery etc.

In terms of Civil services, during your graduation years, you would have to prepare for the entrance exams.
Please note civil service exams would tests your analytic ability, subject knowledge, your opinion, command over spoken and written language. You would have to be well read and deduce your own analysis.
So during your breaks, do not waste much time, read mostly subjects related to history, politics and your subject.Prepare well, discuss it with people who are knowledgeable and can guide you at your mistake.
Also please do focus on your English language both written and spoken.

Wish you all the very best....

Dear Brajesh,

Hello.

You can opt from the following mentioned options which are suitable for you since you are from PCB Stream. These are the options which don't require MBBS.

       2. Paramedical Occupations like Speech therapy, Nursing, radiography, Emergency First Aid, Physiotherapy, Dietetics. For example you can do B.Sc (Speech and Hearing)/Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP). For getting into speech therapy you have to apppear in AIISH All India Entrance Exam.

3. You can also do B.Sc psychology. After this you can become a clinical psychologist by doing M.Sc,M.Phil,Ph.D. Clinical psychology.

4.You can also do B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

5. You can also do Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandary (BVSC & AH) . Entry inthis through All India Pre- Veterinary Test.
