Generally, if you are working after your completing your bachelors degree and not thinking of leaving the job, then you can do post graduation through distance mode. However if the post graduation you are talking about is MBA, then give preference to part time. If your job is very demanding and you will not be able to devote time for attending the part time classes, then distance MBA is suitable.
If you can leave your job and if you not completed more than 2 years in job and you can afford to resign, then doing a full time post graduation like MBA, MTech is recommended.
Distance learning courses should be done only when you are doing a job and have gained more than 5 years of work experience.
