Dear Aspirant,

Another myth, misconception and misinformation about B.ED degree course.

Please note that B.ED course CANNOT be offered in correspondence/distance learning mode by any Institute/University in India.

BEd course needs to be done on full time basis only as per University Grants Commission rules as of today. BEd is a course which is realted to teaching and you should learn the techniques of teaching through theoritcal and practicals, which can be done by a full time course. Further BEd course does not require any prior work experience in teaching field.

You may also think for UGC NET/SET exam which will make you eligible for teaching is colleges.

If someone has told you that BEd can be done through distance or correspondence basis, then it is totally wrong.

You can apply to BEd course to a college affiliated to a University based on your graduation marks of minimum 50%. Fee structure varies from college to college.

Best wishes
