Stockbrokers buy and sell securities on the stock exchange on behalf of investors, who may be individuals or organizationssuch as banks, insurance companies, pension funds or unit trusts, They advise clients on shares they hold and suggest appropriate time to sell or buy. There are mainly three functions concerning a product on the capital market i.e first he product has to researched, second it has to be sold and third part is trading.Stock market career opportunities include securities analysis and equity research , investment banking, fund management , corporate restructuring and consulting , investment advisory services wealth management , equity and debt market broking, wealth and portfolio management, derivative research and related fiels. Job prospects are with brokerage firms, banks, primary dealers, investment banks, credir rating agencies, stock and commodity exchanges, equity research firms, market regulators.employment in stock market is closely connected with market conditions and the state of overall economy and is highly volatile during recession period.
