Dear Friend,

Welcome to the CareerGuide.com platform. We are happy to help you and solve your problem with the best advice.

Before we start, I would like to introduce myself to you, My name is Ravi Thakor and I am LLB, LLM, PGDBCL, PGDBM, PGDCL.

Let me just give you thebrief Idea about what is the Cost Accounting before I go ahead and let you know the salary structure.
Cost Accounting is a process of collecting, analyzing, summarizing and evaluating various alternative courses of action. Its goal is to advise the management on the most appropriate course of action based on the cost efficiency and capabilities. Cost accounting provides the detailed cost information that management needs to control current operations and plan for the future.

Since managers are making decisions only for their own organizations, there is no need for the information to be comparable to similar information from other organizations. Instead, information must be relevant for a particular environment. Cost accounting information is commonly used in Financial Accounting information, but its primary function is for use by managers to facilitate making decisions.

The starting salary for a freshly qualified Cost Accountant can vary anywhere between Rs. 4,00,000 to Rs. 6,00,000 Per Annum. It will depend upon the work experience the person has gained prior to becoming a Cost Accountant and the type of industry you are getting into once you become a Qualified Cost Accountant, namely Manufacturing, Service, BPO/KPO, Banks, Financial Institutions, Consultancy etc etc. Pay package will also depend on weather you are working in India or Overseas.

Hence looking at the increasing demand of these accounting professionals, a freshly qualified Cost Accountant or a Freshly qualified Charted Accountant can expect a starting salary from Rs. 5,00,000 per Annum.

I am sure the advice I have given you here is going to help you make any decision you want to take going further in this particular field. Please also note that this is just an advise and can not be relied upon completely, also salary figures may vary from time to time and situation to situation. These are not 100% correct figures but it gives you the ruff idea about the market in this particular field.

I wish you all the very best and wish you a good luck for your future and your career.

Thanks,
Ravi

A fresh Company Accountant will join as an Assistant in the secretarial department under the Company accountants or a Deputy Company accountant or Legal Counsel in the company. Generally the salary offered for a fresher CS is around Rs. 30,000 If you are a CS and LLB candidate, you can definitely get that salary. You will also be exposed to legal department work along with the routine secretarial work. As you go on working and gain work experience, the salary keeps increasing and you may achieve the designation of Company Secretary when you become competent enough to lead.

This course will give you the opportunity to enter into corporate world, and this is the only course which provides you with the skill to look as professional and in demand too.
