i hav got only 6.58 cat percentile can i get any collge on such low score
Unfortunately with a score which you have you will not be able to get admission to any colleges in India or abroad. I seriously feel that you did not prepare seriously, sincerely and work hard enough to score a decent one. However since you have approached CareerGuide.com you can very much make up and correct your mistakes. I seriously feel that you join a MBA entrance coaching class where you will be taught how to answer the entrance tests and also some simple logical tricks and techniques for scoring atleast average percentile in the tests. Also apart from that I would strongly recommend you to read newspapers daily so that you get the knowledge and information about the current affairs. Also if required you also need to join an English coaching class to improve your english language skills, since the tests have a category on english language skills. Also please re think why you would like to do an MBA? Is it because you have been told by your parents or friends or is it because the world is doing it or is it because you really want to become an MBA. Please also understand that just by doing an MBA you wont be able to become a Manager instantly. I think if you are from commerce background, you should also check if you can pursue professional courses like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship or Cost Accountancy or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), etc. These courses are very much good and give very good career scope and status and good salary packages. Considering your low score in CAT, I would also recommend you to appear for simpler tests like CMAT, CET, XAT or SNAP. Also please think for a formal psychometric assessment from CareerGuide.com so that you get a very clear idea of what are your career interests, likings. Doing this test will remove all your confusion about your self and will help you to decide and proceed towards an informed career decision making. After you have studied well for entrance tests please appear for the entrance tests again and I am sure that you will be able to score a good percentile which will help you get admission to good MBA colleges. Best Luck.
