Central University of Haryana (CUH) is one of the 15 new central universities established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, in the XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012) under the Central Universities Act, 2009 of the Parliament. The university is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is located in Jant-Pali villages, Mahendergarh district of Haryana. The permanent campus of the university is spread over 484 acres of land.
