Engineering as a career is opted by many of the students these days due to the wide scope and demand for the Engineering students. With the new inventions and development in the technology many new engineering branches have emerged these days. Engineering is one of the oldest profession that has been practised since from the ancient human civilisation.
A student who aspires to make a career in the Engineering field they need to complete their 10+2 after 10th from scinece stream with subjects Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University or Board. Earlier students were not needed to give any kind of entrance exam to seek admission for engineering course of their choice . Due to the increasing scope and demand for the engineering the Board of Technical Education made a compulsion of the Engineering Entrance exam in the country. Till year 2012 their was an AIEEE exam conducted for the IIT's,NIT's etc colleges and other state and private Institute Entrance exam. From 2012 AIEEE exam name is changed to IIT JEE exam. The JEE exam is meant for the to get the admission for engineering course across the country in the colleges. Students who aspires to study in IIT they need to crack the JEE Mains exam and need to come into the Merit of 1st 1,50,000 students from the country and then need to crack the JEE Advance exam.
In order to appear for this JEE exam it doesn't matter from which state you belong;you can definitely apply for the JEE exam. You are eligible for all kinds of Engineering Entrance Exam which are conducted in the country.
