Dear Friend!

I am not clear about your question. Whether you are saying:

1) Can I enrol for CA even if I dont have maths in 11th & 12th standard?

or

2) Can I do CA without opting maths as a subject in it?

I will answer for both possibilities :

Answer to first question:

A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Common Proficiency Test, if he / she has :

1. Either passed or appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination ( 10+2 examination ) conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and has complied with such requirements as may be specified by the Council from time to time. ( The list of examinations recognized as equivalent to Senior Secondary Examination );

2.To pursue Chartered Accountant you must have passed the 12 th standard in any stream by a recognized institute. There is no issue whether you have maths in 11th.

Answer to Second question:

The syllabus & subjects in CA course is fixed, it can't be changed. All the subjects have to be studied whether you know that subject or not. There are no options or no provision to opt out any subject. Therefore, you have to study mathematics (
Quantitative Aptitude in CPT).

If you find this guidance useful, then pls revert back by thanking or liking it.

Stay Happy & Bright
