Hi Vivek,

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) course after the completion of your engineering in IT. CDAC is a government institution which provides various courses which is of 6-8 month course.
The courses in which you can apply after engineering are listed below:

  • Advanced Course in Bioinformatics (ACB).
  • Certificate Course in Digital and Analog VLSI Design (CDAD).
  • Certificate Course on Networking & System Security (CNSS).
  • Diploma in System Software Development (DSSD).
  • Diploma in Embedded Systems Design (DESD).
  • Diploma in Advanced Business Computing (D-ABC).

Fee structure for courses lie between 60 to 70K.

Doing CDAC courses/certifications after IT Engineering is the best thing you have thought about. CDAC courses enhance the employability of a candidate.

Definitelym go ahead with CDAC courses. Do not go distance learning courses though.
