Coming to your question that even in clerical level job tally knowledge is required and you don not have tally knowledge but dear friend it is nothing so difficult you can even do tally in three months as you already have accounts idea and it will be very easy for you to learn it and implement it in your working experience.




You can go to any near by computer classes they must be teaching tally there just do it for three months and you will be excellent worker in the same. It is not so difficult and do not worry at all just go for the course and than go for the vacancy opened and apply with full confidence.


First try and even I do not think all are asking for tally knowledge you may get some with out that requirement also. I can say because though I am not a commerce student but i went for tally classes and now i can work on tally and even i got the tally idea in less than three months, so being a commerce student it will be very easy for you to get through and get excellent hand on working on tally with continuous practice and diligence andpatience.




Never give up so easily and keep trying what ever is there and coming on your way with full confidence and positive attitude success will follow you do not worry, life has its own surprises for every one one day you will reach where you deserve to be . It is never late just believe in your self and your capabilities

Accounts jobs which are in the lower to middle level range very much require tally knowledge. Please understand my dear, that tally is such a great application that without it no business today is running. It is a fact and that is the strength of Tally software package.




Since you are interested in clerical jobs, I hope you understand that clerical work in the depart of finance and accounts consists of passing journal entries, keeping ledger accounts, keeping vouchers in safe custody, maintaining all the important and almost every details of transactions online or offline medium, etc. In the accounts department, clerical work is very important and veyr critical, since if a document goes missing it can cost the company thousands of rupees in terms of penalty or business loss. The head of the accounts and finance department is a Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant. A Chartered Accountant ./ Cost accountant is in charge and responsible for every task that happens in the department. Therefore clerks are very much important for them since they are the ones who are the first persons near to every transaction than happens in the business. Clerical staff requirement is always there in the market and people like you are very much required by companies.




TALLY is a great software application and my dear, why there is a harm to learn it. As rightly mentioned by my colleague here Ms. Sonia Agrawal, learning Tally is a very short term course available at any of your local training institutes. Tally courses are generally of three months and you can do it easily.




But My dear, YOU HAVE TO do the Tally course and get a certificate of passing so that your prospective employer hires you fast.
