Hello Mani,
As you have mentioned, you are already a Graduate in zoology. So my question to you is why are you attempting Medical studies now?. Your graduate degree in zoology is not valid for admission to medical. It is your 12th marks that would be acconted for admission.
Thus you would invest 4 1/2 years studying medical and another 1year in rural internship. Thus a total of 6 years to graduate as a general doctor. And after that if you looking to specialise as an MD or MS another 2 1/2 years of study after clearing another entrance exam.
Rather i would suggest think over it before you take a decision. A total of roughly 8 to 10 years before you finally settle as a doctor. If you are willing to start a career at the age of 35 then take this risk. But my advize will be against it.
