What are the future opportunities in Horticulture after studying horticulture 3rd year ?
Science as a career stream is one of the great stream and has been always one of the first career choice of the students many students after 10th and 12th they go for the science In science students needs to select a maths or science and as per their interest of subjects they can make their career in science either into the maths or biology subjects . Students who are good at mathematics or physics and aspires to make a career in engineering ,maths etc. They need to go with the biology ; students a will have an exposure to make a career in Botany,Zoology , Agriculture ,Horticulture, Floriculture , Pharmacy etc. Horticulture is an interesting branch in science A horticulturists on completion of the B.Sc degree in Horticulture people have many career opportunities like they can continue with the future education like M.Sc,M Phil or Ph.D in Horticulture whereas there are also many job career opportunities both in India and also in the foreign country . Whereas there are many job opportunities in Public sector and also in the private sector . In public sector you can apply for the posts of Horticulture but before that you need to give an admission test . you can apply for the UPSC exams .can apply for District Horticulture officer /District Agriculture officer through the state Public service commission Technical Assistant /officers in Agriculture University Training Assistant in Krishi vigyan Kendra. Agricultural Inspector etc. The notifications of the same can be found in the various newspapers. In private sector there are many career opportunities as Assistant Horticulture inspector etc.you can also work as Assistant lecturer ,professor in the colleges and universities of Horticulture or Agriculture.
