Hello Himank,

Firstly wish you good luck for your final year. Do well. Study hard and score a minimum First class, as that is the minimum requirement for further studies and or job as well.

If you are keen on a management career that too from a reputed Institute, ready to put in all efforts needed, then yes you can opt for CAT entrance exam after your Graduation.

Please note the eligibility for appearing for CAT is minimum first class in graduation, no reservations are there in this examination. A student gets admission purely based on merit.

Thus after your Graduation, enrol yourself for CAT preparatory classes, get your concepts clear and solve as many papers as possible. For Group discussion, reading, and especially reading all subject matters that you can lay your hands onto, and being able to discuss it is important. In terms of Personal Interview, get prepared with basic questions

As a Counselor, I would suggest, that apart from CAT, appear for other entrance examinations like CET, private institute exams like NMAT, XAT, SAT etc. It is better to secure admission in other reputed institutes rather than wasting a year. Anyways it is your decision

Wish you good luck...
