As you have said you have interest to work in Law and Civil that's a reallygood thing .Both the fields are most demanding and respectful career optionnowadays. As you have tried CLAT twice but was not able to crack it thatdoesn't mean you won't be able to crack only the your weak part is English.Sostart to improve English because you will need English in IAS also and englishis the official language.Start studying and understanding English BasicConcepts of Grammar,Increase your vocabulary by reading Englishnewspaper, magazines, listening English channels of news etc. Try to speak inEnglish as much as possible. This will definitely improve your English.

Hereby i am giving you some tips for your CLAT Exam which will help you tocrack-

  1. As paper has negative marking ,hence be very careful while answering.if you don't know the answer to a question, don't attempt it.
  2. Questions from previous years are important so make sure you have solved the past years papers. These papers are available online on the official website of CLAT.
  3. Anything that will cause you stress should be avoided. Don't take stress.
  4. Solve as many as mocks possible .Focus on improving accuracy, question selection, time management and concentration.
  5. Have an action plan for the paper;but be flexible with it.If the paper is tough it will be for all and if its easy it will be for all.Think on your feet, stay calm ,stay focussed and keep running.

English including Comprehension-

1.Identify specific rules forsolving various types of questions in this area.

2.Improve more vocabulary because atthe time of exam you don't have much time for vocabulary building. If you havedone a wordlist before ,please revise.Else leave it.

General Knowledge/Current affairs-

1. A good look towards previouspapers will give you an idea about the important topics.

2.Pick up a good book for CLAT GKand revise the numbers for the last 12 months for specific areas that appearregularly in the exam.

Mathematics-

1.Practice the frequently appearingtopics from a simple book so that you are ready with the fundamentals. It willhelp if you make a l ist of important formulae for ready reference.

2.Be wise in selectingquestions during the exam .Leave the more difficult questions forthe end.

Logical Reasoning-

1.Pick up some book on LogicalReasoning and practice as much as you can.

Legal Aptitude-

1.Your score in the legal aptitudewill help you to crack the exam. Therefore having a better score in this areawill help you to have better rank in overall.

2.Work on the past sectionquestions.

While for IAS preparations yourefere to the TATA MAC GRAW HILL books.
