Yes. Traveling is a part of the marketing profile. But if you wish to shift to HR now after 7 years of experience, it will be like working from scratch or ground level. Yourr marketing job experience would be nullified. Think twice before you make a leap.
Apply to another company in a senior company, whereby juniors would do the traveling part. You only do the research and contacting the customers part. You can get into the business development profile, whereby your main role would be getting clients via mails, advertisements etc. Another upcoming field is Digital Marketing, whereby you market your company through the online ways using internet, etc. Knowledge about animation, graphic and web designing is a must here.
Incase if you have made your mind to join HR. Then apply to various organizations through their websites and job portals like Naukri, monsters, jobs ahead etc. But here you would be employed in the basic job ie recruitments. Slowly you can shift to a more generic profile.
