I am happy to know that you want to start your own venture, as now a days more and more professionals are moving towards entrepreneurship. Be it any field. As far as opportunities are concerned for a mathematician, they are ample.

You can start your own coaching classes. Take a place on hire or if possible buy your own shop and put some furniture . Start with students around your place and slowly by the word of mouth it spreads and people come to know about it. You can even go to some schools and speak to the authorities to tie up with you, so they send their students to you. Once a good number of students are there , then you can hire some more teachers and grow in a big way.

For maths every body is looking for classes or tuition to excel in this subject , so the scope is quite bright. You can even start with a number of batches at your residence if you have enough space to conduct the classes. So many students conduct classes at home now a days.

You just need to start it , take the first step and see how it grows in a very short time. You are thinking in the right direction, you will be your own boss in a way so just get started. You can consult some teachers about the fee structure and all and set your own rules and regulations. Print some receipt books and visiting cards to give it a professional look. Decide a logo of your classes and move on.

You must be having a particular class of students in mind, you have not mentioned here. If you want to start from the primary section , then you may have to print some bags also for the students to carry their books etc. Even for higher classes like high school , higher secondary or junior senior college students you need to give them bags of different kind with the logo of the class. I am just telling you all the small small things, just to help you out. I hope this will help you move ahead in your venture.
