500+ Career Options
1M+ Test Taken
Dear Aspirant,
Food Technology and Occupational Therapy are too different courses and options leading to different career paths. You are asking me to compare oranges and apple and tell you which is good. My answer would be "every career is good however it is more important to know whether you are suitable for that particular career or no. Good career is an ambition of every person, however you should ensure that you have the right educational qualifications, employability skills and positive attitude".
Good salary does not come instantly and you have to build your skills sets and show performance in any job type you choose.
I would strongly recommend you to appear for the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide.com. This psychometric test will ascertain which career option you are suitable for. This test will judge your aptitude, interests, inter personal abilities, etc. After that you can speak to me through this system.
Best wishes
Hello Athar
Both the courses have good scope in India and cannot be compared as they are from two different fields. An occupational therapist may work in private hospitals, rehabilitation centre, nursing home, health care centre, etc.
A candidate who has pursued graduation from food technology may work as a food inspector, food research analyst, food technologist etc. Hence, the choice depends on your skills, interest and inclination. You may discuss these factors with your parents and teachers or take help of a psychometric test. Treat your interest as a priority and not salary while choosing a course.
All the best
Dear Student, this is really a confusing situation but mind you, it has to be sorted out and you are the one who is best person to decide what interests you the most. Both the courses have a very good financial return if we think on monetary grounds. To me, I guess B.Tech Food Tech may be little better as compared to occupational therapy, So, I'd recommend to go for it and you may pick any of the following institutions - Banasthali University, Banasthali,................................JJTU, Jhunjhunu,.................
In order to post replies to the question: "mam i am a pcb student confused between 2 courses b.tech food technology and occupational therapy help me wjat to do and which has more job opportunities with good salary "
