Hi,

You have not mentioned for Three year or Five year course. I will place my answers keeping in mind both.

ILS Law College Pune offers courses as follows:

  • LL.B. (three-year law degree course after graduation)
  • B.A.LL.B. (five-year law degree course after XII or equivalent)
  • LL.M. (two-year masters programme after graduation in law)
  • Diploma in Taxation Laws (D.T.L.) (one-year course after graduation)
  • Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare (D.L.L.&L.W.) (one-year course after graduation)

You need to give the CET ( Common Entrance Test ) as decided by  Government of Maharashtra from academic year 2016-17.

SEATS

On Merit Basis (CET ) Two Couses are offered

  • 1st year of B.A.LL.B. (five-year law degree course after XII or equivalent)                               : 240 seats
  • 1st year of LL.B. (three-year law degree course after graduation)                                           : 160 seats

Below mentioned courses have no entrance exam. Seats are given in First come first Serve basis

  • D.T.L. (Diploma in Taxation Laws) (one-year course after graduation)                                     : 180 seats
  • D.L.L. & L.W. (Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare) (one-year course after graduation) : 60 seats

 Common Entrance Test (CET ) Syllabus

(1)For Three Year LL.B Course

Total Questions : 150

Number of Multiple choice question: 150 (One mark each)

No negative Marking

Duration of Examination: 2 hours.

Subject with weightage

Legal Aptitude                                   - 30 Marks

General Knowledge with current affairs - 40 Marks

Logical & Analytical reasoning              - 30 Marks

English                                             - 50 Marks

Total                                                - 150 Marks

(2) For Five year LL.B Course

Legal Aptitude                                   - 40 Marks

General Knowledge with current affairs - 30 Marks

Logical & Analytical reasoning              - 30 Marks

English                                             - 30 Marks

Basic Mathematics                              - 20 Marks

Total                                                - 150 Marks

 

Papers are different.

ELIGIBLITY

  • B.A.LL.B. (Five-Year law-degree Course): XIIth or equivalent with minimum 40% for SC / ST candidates, and 45% in all other cases
  • LL.B. (Three-Year law-degree Course): Graduate of any discipline with minimum 40% for SC / ST candidates, and 45% all other cases
  • D.T.L.: Graduate of any discipline
  • D.L.L.&L.W.: Graduate of any discipline

Note 1. Admissions to the two law degree courses is also subject to other eligibility criteria of the Bar Council of India.
Note 2. We cannot consider your case for admission if the Board or University giving you the certificate, diploma or degree is not recognised by the UGC or the AIU.
