Student who have a passion to serve and protect their nation they can join army , navy and Air force wings. To join the defense sector a student’s recruitment is done through the National Defense Academy entrance exam. The NDA exam is held twice a year in the month of Aril and September. An NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam is conducted for the male candidates only. The male candidates who wish to apply for NDA exam he should be unmarried. The course of NDA is of 3 years for all the ways. In the form candidate is require to mention his preference for the service he wish to join. Candidates should decide whether he wish to join Army, Navy or Air Force. There are two academies that are national defense academy and Naval Academy (Executive branch). If you wish to join the army wing a student of any faculties after 12th can joined. Whereas to join the Air force and Navy wing a student should have studied the subject physics, and maths in their 12th . That is a student should be from the science faculties. A candidates should be citizen of India the age limit for NDA exam is that one should have attend the age of 16 and half years and must not have attend the age 19 years on the first January or first of July of the year succesiding the year of exam. So you can apply for the exam after taking and admission for the 11th and can understand the exam pattern of the NDA entrance exam.
