Dear Aspirant,
If you are a B - School pass out then first option to find job is through the Campus Placement.
If you did not find a job through Campus Placement or if you are already into the job market independently, then you need to approach private job consultants and register your resume on top job portals.
References also play a vital role in getting a you a job. Therefore, speak to your friends, family and other professional contacts and ask them to refer your candidature in the companies they work for.
Best wishes,
Dr. Anand Wadadekar
Hi there,
Thats an interesting question and I am sure you know the answer as well.
From your query, it looks like you do have some experience, because if you were a fresher from a B-School then you would have got placements from the campus selection and if not, then you would have searched a job as a Marketing executive, since you would be a fresher in the job market.
If you are a experienced person, or a fresher hunting for a job, then there are just 3 ways to find jobs:
Hope this helps you in your search.
Wish you good luck.............
Hello
Yes, as other counsellors have advised here, check if there is any opportunity like on-campus placements with your college. Otherwise, you can still walk to other colleges and do off-campus placements. Some colleges might invite students in and around their city to attend job interviews at their campus. So check if there are any such off-placements as well with other colleges in your city. Second, look for jobs on job portal. Naukri, Monster, Timesjobs, Shine are nationally renowned job sites. Upload your cv, resume on these sites. Recruiters will get in touch with you if they find you desirable for any available position. Alternatively, you may also get in touch with recruiters on these sites, especially on Naukri. You can write messages to them to consider you for any job openings. Pass on your CV to them and they will get in touch with you when something arises. Apply individually on the company's websites. Companies will have an option to upload your CV on their website. If they have one, make use of it. Otherwise, you can still find HR contact details on their website - either email, phone number or address itself. So try to email or post your CV to the address mentioned. It is also good to give them a call and ask whats the best way to send in your application.
Personal referrals: Get in touch with many people as much as possible. The best way to look out for referrals and also for applying jobs is through LinkedIn. It is an excellent platform to showcase your CV and recruiters can read through your entire profile on it. You may also write to recruiters of companies through LinkedIn and ask them to consider your CV for any suitable position that may arise. In case you can't find any recruiters in your desired area, then you can still write to any employees from the company on this platform and ask them to pass on your CV to recruiters. Hope this helps.
