In order to become an HR professional you need to meet the following requirements:

1. You need to have an MBA in Human Resource Management. This is the most important criteria for any organization. Most of the times it is a mandatory requirement and therefore one has to have the degree. In case you do not have an MBA, and only graduate degree then you may not find a place in large firms. You can start working in a small company and learn things there. Once you gain enough experience you can always move to a corporate house.

2.

You need to be very good at your interpersonal skills. HR management is all about managing people and dealing with them in day to day lives. Therefore, it is utmost important that you get comfortable in working with diverse groups of people and you enjoy dealing with them. Also you need to have enough patience when it comes to deal in pressure situations.

3. You are supposed to be very good at your communication skills. This part is also extremely important as the role of HR professional is to make the entire communications and they cannot afford to mess up with that. The written and oral communication skills of an HR professional have to be of top level and they need to consistently grow if they want to succeed in this career.

4. You need to spend a lot of time maintaining the records and filling the sheets. Therefore you are supposed to be extremely good at dealing with facts and information and keep a track of the records. All the secret information of a company is usually in the hands of HR professionals. They need to build that trust with the management so that the management can rely on them in critical situations.
