Answering your career query Agriculture is one of the growing field and much of the industries are dependent on Agriculture. Agriculture is the backbone of our country's economy. Its good to hear that you wish to make a career in Agriculture.
Agriculture engineering means the use of advance technology in the cultivation of crops or in Agriculture to get the high results of the agriculture production with the quality results.Agriculture engineers discover the ways to conserve the Soil and Water and to have a good Agricultural Production.
In order to make a career in Agriculture Engineering you need to opt for science stream after 10th. In science stream you need to have the subjects Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics and/or Biology. Whereas you after 12th you need to give an screening test like JEE or any other of the private institutes. On clearing your screening test and 12th you get eligible to get admitted for the B.Tech or B.E Agriculture Engineering course of 4 years.

To pursue Agriculture as a professional line, you can take up science as your main subjects in your 10+2. You can take up PCB as your major subject during that course. After completing your 12th you can give ICAR AIEEA exam to get into Agricultural Universities.
However, If you are willing to get govt. jobs in Agriculture Sector, you can prepare for NABARD Grade A Exams. And Make sure you are known about NABARD Grade A Eligibility.
