3. National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal

NITK Surathkal, formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), is a public engineering university established in 1960 in suburban regions of Surathkal. NITK was ranked 16th among engineering colleges in India by India Today in 2020, 10th by Outlook India, and 14th by The Week in 2019.
