The most popular open school system present in India is the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Students can appear for both 10th and 12th-grade examinations by paying minimal registration and examinations fees. The National Institute of Open Schooling provides approximately 27 subjects, including English and 16 other languages at the secondary level. There are almost 23 subjects, including English and five other languages for the senior secondary level. The Open Basic Education (OBE) program is for all age groups, and there are three levels of Schooling: OBE level A which is equivalent to class I-III, OBE level B that is equivalent to class IV-V, and OBE level C which is for class VI-VIII. The fees structure of NIOS is very feasible due to which students opt for this education. Moreover, NIOS Result over the years have shown a good pass percentage.

Is NIOS A Good Option?
