Hi Roy, Distribution of Marks in GATE exam: There are total 65 questions in the GATE examination. The maximum marks to be obtained are 100. There is no exact distribution of marks for each particular subject. The Engineering mathematics & general aptitude have the 15% weightage each which is the highest. It means that engineering mathematics will carry a total of 15 marks and General Aptitude questions will carry a total of 15 marks.
