After B.Sc. in Biology you can go for Masters' degree. After that if you have interest to do research in biology or want to become professor of biology then you can appear for CSIR NET Life Sciences. CSIR conducts the NET exam on behalf of UGC to examine the knowledge of candidates to holding of the positions of professor/lecturer/researcher. You have to atleast 55% aggregate percent in post graduation to apply for CSIR NET if you are from general/OBC category or if you come from SC/ST/PwD category then you must have minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Hello, You can make career in the Lectureship as well as in Research program. This is a wonderful field as a career and you will get good job and pay scale and other perks if you crack the CSIR NET Exam. There is no mandatory age limit for CSIR NET Exam but to clear JRF you need to be age limit up-to 28 years.
