You can definitely become a Lecturer in Senior College for BSc and MSc.
Firstly, you will need to complete MSc in Microbiology from a recognised University. Post completion of Masters degree with minimum 55% marks, you need to then appear for UGC NET / SET Exam. Hello,
To become a lecturer (Assistant Professor) you will have to complete the Master’s degree as it is the minimum eligibility criteria to become a lecturer in India.
So, once you pursue the postgraduation in Microbiology then you will be eligible to appear in lectureship entrance exam which is CSIR NET.
The CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test) is conducted by the National Testing Agency to check the eligibility of an aspirant for teaching and research work.
Once you qualify this exam, then you will be eligible to apply in various colleges and institutes for the post of Assistant Professor.
