Dear Student Hello!

Initially My name is Couns Rohit Gala. I am a counselor who has an experience to work with London School of Economics and political Science as well as Uni of London research projects.

I have just read your query and would like to tell you that, you have done a really good course which is in demand every where in the world. as you have completed B. FTech which is a apparel production course you can start working in any of the research and development dept of any of the production house like, Raymonds, Siyarams, silk mart, Louie Philippe, etc. who are the market leaders in producing fashion material for the market. You can join as a asst developer to any of the managers and understand the technicalities of each material. Also try and understand the market demand for each material which is produced. Working with them you will also learn to mix various material and also the color fixers so as to give the final finishing to the cloth.

Gradually you will yourself learn the market and will experiment various new ways in which material can be used and produced. For eg. Just recently Levis clothing has developed a Denim which is made from recycled plastic. So this is an invention of a apparel production house.

Similarly you can also d a good research on various new ways and produce something out of the box for the market. This will surely earn you a good income.

Coming to your next question: Yes you can surely start of with working and learning as a fashion designer. But for that you need to target some colleges and then check their intakes personally as each college will have various intakes and also you will come to know their entry levels as you have done this course. If not you can also do a short term course from any of the recognized college for a year or two. As you complete that you will be eligible to work as a fashion designer any where in India.

As you will have knowledge of both textile and fashion designing you will be a market leader.

Remember at the end its your life. you can change it they way you want.

Thank you and best of luck Bye.
