In this situation you leadership and teaching skills become very important. How you manage and lead your team members determines how well you are contributing to your work.3. The art of diplomacy is one of the most essential things in a Chef's role. There will be certain situations in your career when you have to deal politely and diplomatically. These skills come with good experience and dealing with a number of people.4. As a Chef you are also involved in the hiring and firing process of new Chefs. This skill requires great deal of expertise in working with other professionals. You get to involved in the discussions and decide upon various talent acquisition related issues. The interpersonal skills become really imortant in this case.5. Your ability to listen to others will give you a lot of credibility among your staff members.
