Glad to know your inclination for becoming a Chartered Accountant and that too at the right time when you are in 12th commerce. Maths is not at all a conpulsory subject even if you wish to do Chartered Accountancy. However having a little command over Maths definitely helps if you are doing Maths oriented courses like CA, CMA, CFA, MBA Finance, etc. But as said, that it not the only determinant.
Please do get yourself enrolled for the CPT exam on the basis of 12th commerce. After you clear CPT, you will be admitted to the Executive level (Intermediate course) of Chartered Accountancy.
As a whole, Chartered Accountancy course is tough, challenging yet satisfying in terms of knowledge, competence, and a long term career success.
Preparing for CA requires determination, patience and lot of practice of all the subjects. The exam and the questions asked are not University pattern oriented and therefore do not get confused between your commerce graduation studies and CA studies. You will have to study separately and in different style and technique for CA subjects.
Enrolling yourself in a good coaching class is recommended which help you for guidance, practice and building confidence.
Do not skip any chapters or topics, be it theory or accounts, tax problems.
