Hello Mayur,
Interesting question.
The question of experience varies from University to University and individual to individual.
Many courses like engineering, medical, computers etc have job opportunities being just a Graduate, whereas other courses a student would have to pursue a masters degree for them to get a job.
Coming to your question.
Most of the Universities in USA, ask mainly for a project or a thesis from students related to their subject matter. Thus at that time experience would count. Again, it would depend on the course one opts for.
In the meanwhile, making applications and to actual flying takes time. So instead of wasting time, I would suggest begin to work.
Though it is not mandatory for admission.
Also I would suggest, consult an education abroad consultant for more details.
Wish you good luck...
Dear Aspirant,
A majority of the BSchools abroad demand work experience. What is your graduation in? And what Masters are you thinking of doing? Hope it is of Management since you have chosen the Management category to ask this question.
BSchools abroad definitely prefer experienced candidates for MBA program since that is not of the level at which Indian Universities teach in MBA. Here in India, MBA is taken up immediately after graduation as if that is the only course to do and since all are doing it. But in abroad, the mindset and attitude of the candidates for MBA is required different.
I would suggest that instead of an MBA from abroad right after your graduation, you can do it from Indian Top BSchools. Doing MBA from abroad does not guarantee more salary than an Indian Top BSchool MBA.
Best wishes
