Banking sector is one of the fast growing sector in the country. Banking sector has been reaching out to the rural areas and also in the foriegn market giving a room for the many career opportunities . Whereas banking sector has been offering a wide range of services to the customer which a skilled and technology savvy Human Resource. The one chooses making a career in the Banking field especially in the Commerce field. Banking career is one of the respectable career option considered in the country.
In order to make a career in Banking one have an option either to make a career in the Government Banks or Private Banks.
The eligibility criteria for both the banks to make a career is as follows-
Government Banks-
In government Banks you can either make a career in SBI Bank or other 21 Government Banks. For SBI Bank different SBI exams like Clerk and PO are conducted whereas for other government banks you need to give an IBPS Exam for clerk and PO.
1. A candidate who has completed graduation from any stream from a recognised university or who has in the last year of the Graduation and waiting for the result can appear for the Bank Clerk/PO exam.
2. Nationality- Indian
3.Age- 20 to 30 years; 5 years relaxation for SC/ST,3 years relaxation for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.
Private Banks-
In order to make a career in the Private Banks like ICICI,HDFC etc. They have their own exams. The Eligibility is usuallly as follows you need to check on their respective websites.-
1.Should have completed a degree with minimum 55%.
2.Should be within 25 years of age.
After Graduation you can make your career in the Banking Sector.
