Hey Abhishek.

From your question I assume you wish to pursue an MBA either in operations or Finance.


As such you are capable of specializing in both. But first check the credibility or the approval base of the college.
Since very few University provides Operations specializations, as many merge it under Marketing.

Coming to your question, Finance and Operations are two different fields.
Finance MBA would expose you to managing of accounts and Financial matter sin the organization, whereas Operations would involve inventory management as well as Supply chain or in short managing the inventory
Both the departments work in sync with each other though.
As a Finance Graduate you can work in Operations but not the other way round.

And from your question, I do understand that you already have work experience and knowledge in operations.
So majoring in Operations or Marketing is a better option for you.

Now coming back, if you have 5 years of experience, why dont you have a experience certificate?????
It is best if you meet the authorities and demand for a work experience certificate, as it is your right.
At the same time, during admission in an MBA college, experience is counted.
So at any costs go speak to the management and discuss your further plans of study and get your certificate too from them.
