1M+ Test Taken
Dear Aspirant,
Do not get frustrated so soon. Its nice that you spent one year for preparing for GATE, however could not crack it on high score/rank. This does not mean that you need to get disappointed and frustrated. Since you have completed your engineering in 2016, its not too much time lapse today.
There fore, I would suggest that you should immediately start hunting for engineering jobs. Working in an established company or start up is your choice entirely. Just to share, that working in a start up will give real experience and rea work which will be beneficial for your future upward career progress.
Do not leave technical just because you are sad not to crack GATE. Not everybody cracks GATE, yet many get successful and are happy. There fore I would suggest that you should immediately contact your friends, family, job placement agencies, job portals like Naukri.com etc and get hooked up in a job. Here do not be fussy or choosy for salary package. This is your learning stage and the company which hires you also doesn't know the real you and your real competence in terms of delivery. Job profile and company culture should be the two things you should look at while accepting the offer. Salaries will follow as you start gaining experience.
Best wishes
