Hi, Sebastian

I would advise you to get your CV done professionally, highlighting the sectors that you have worked in, the software platforms that you have worked on, and the kind of assignments that you have handled. It will help recruitment agents in finding the right fit for you.

Apply for Finance Manager jobs. See if you can teach Finance/Accounting in some coaching institute, or develop academic course content. Universities normally ask for a PhD.

20 years of experience gives you tremendous insights into the functioning of your vertical. Yet, age bias remains a hurdle, which remains to be overcome.

Dear Aspirant,

You have with you all that is required for a senior level position in your concerned domain. In India, definitely you can get opportunities for senior positions.

A well drafted resume highlighting your skills acquired, competence areas and work experience details should be done. Take help of a professional resume drafter.

You can definitely leverage your qualification and experience for further career. I would suggest that if possible, you can go for a distance learning MBA. Since you are technically competent in accounting domain, adding the management knowledge can be of very good help and benefit.

There are many people who come back from UAE and start in India again through a job or own consulting.

I would suggest that you should send your well drafted CV to job consultants and upload it on job portals like Naukri.com, etc.

Best wishes
