Good to hear that you have been thinking to make a career in the Defence sector. Defence Sector plays a very important role in the security of any country. Due to the strong Defence system country can face any kind of foreign intrusions and can overcome them very easily.

In India we have three kinds of Defence sector available to make a career-
1. Air Force
2.Army
3.Navy

One can make a career in any of these sector as per their choice and area of interest. To get into defence sector one has to give certain examinations. One can enter defence sector after 12th science with subjects as Physics and Maths. The other option available is through Combined Defence Services (CDS) conducted by UPSC Board followed by an face to face interview with Services selection board (SSB).Through CDS exam one can either opt for regular or short term services as per the ones choice.

When it comes to the preparation and cracking the defence exam one must work on the following things-
1.Go through the syllabus and look out which topic have how much weightage and according to make a study time table.
2.Make a proper time table of the study and follow it strictly on the every day basis.
3.Have a good knowledge of Maths and English and other subjects basic concepts.
4.Look which topics you are good at and which topics you find hard and work hard on the Hard topics but do not overlook the good topics because they are going to be a scoring part for you in the exam do practice them from time to time.
5.Solve previous question papers.
6. Time management has been one of the important factor where students lack most of the time and due to which they are not able to crack it. So work on the Time Management part.
7.Dont Mug up the things .Have speed and accuracy in your answers.
8.Maintain your Health and Mental Health. Do Physical Exercise and do Meditation.
9.Have a proper diet and don't ignore it.

These are some of the small points creating a great difference in the exam.
