Dear Friend!

You are a science student & planning to do B.Tech an engineering course. Which is good career & you will get a good salary package. Plus if you do MBA then it will add more weightage to your profile & similarly your salary package will also rise.

But when you, we tlak about B.Tech & CA, they are pole apart. As Engineers works is mostly in the operations, production, technical etc but CA job is altogether different of handling Accounts, saving tax, audit. Even if you do both you will only get a package for one field either CA or B.Tech..

As regards MBA I can give you more details as I am also a career counselor with IIPM. So you can send me your queries regarding MBA at :
ca.mayankchopra@gmail.com

Please make a check list of your career as follows:

1) Interest : Whats your interest ? Passion? Because if you dont have any interest in the field which you are pursuing, you will not be able to perform well easily.

2) Value : i.e Package.check which career in which u have interest will fetch u good money. Both B.Tech & CA are equivalent in terms of packages.

3) Long Term Goal : The degree which you accumulate will have no role in the long run, you will only be known because of you work & experience. So check out what do wnat to become in next 20 years.

Remeber one thing, you are right now thinking from a BROAD LEVEL & in TERMS of Degrees but my friend when we come into the job field our stream further gets narrowed as we have to be specialised in one field of our subject (CA, B.Tech, Doctor). So focus on becoming a specialist in one field atleast, then think of something out of the box.

Best Regards
