Anyways coming to your question. Right now my advise to you would be to focus on 12th and score to your potentials. And then do your best till your graduation. Since to appear for civil services or UPSC exams eligibility criteria is being a Graduate.
In terms of preparation, this exam focuses on concepts and logical or reasoning capacity. As far as concepts are concerned, tbey have a paper on subject that you select. In the subject you select you need to be aware of the basics of the subject. Hence right now focus on getting your concepts clear.
In terms of reasoning, the focus is on general awareness.

The selection also focuses on the personality and communication ability of the individual. Start preparing on that.
