To know more about the CFA Chartered financial Analyst, I would like to explain you in detail.
CFA degree in US is awarded by the CFA institute and to attain this a candidate has to clear three levels of exams popularly known as level I, level II, level III.
The degree awarded by the institute is one of the toughest degrees, in which only 38% of the students who appear for the exam mange to clear level I, 39% manage to clear level II and only 46 % able to clear level III approximately , it may vary.

ELIGIBILITY : To be able to enroll for this degree a candidate should possess a bachelor degree and four years of working experience. If the candidate is not having 4 years of working experience he' she can still appear the exam but the degree will be awarded after getting four years of working experience only.
CFA degree is an internationally acclaimed degree and will help you to get a good salary package. Minimum requirement is bachelor degree but many MBA mostly from top B-schools like IIM appear this exam. From this you can understand the value of this course.
This CFA degree is recognized in more than 138 countries across the globe. This course is designed and structured in such a way that professionals from different countries and learn and apply the same in their country.
EXAM : In this three levels are there which are important to clear to attain the degree.
1. Level I- held in June and December every year

It is multiple choice paper with three options to each question and consist of 240 questions to be completed in 6 hours( two session of three hours each). Each question having equal weightage and no negative marking for wrong answer.


2. Level II- held in June every year

It is having mostly case study type questions, 20 case studies with 6 questions each are asked in two sessions of 3 hours, In each section 10 case studies are there.

3. Level III- held in June every year.

This paper mostly consist of essay type paper with 10 case studies of 6 questions each.

The exams are conducted in English language only
To become a member of this institute a candidate need to apply for membership after clearing all the levels of exams and attaining four years of work experience and by adhering to the CFA institute code of ethics and standard of professional conduct.
