The resume of a Business Analyst should reflect following things:

1. The projects that you have worked on as a Business Analyst have to be clearly stated. The details of the projects have to be mentioned along with your role and responsibilities. What you have done, and where your performance impacted the results of the overall project.

2. If you have any other prior work experience that has to be mentioned, again with your specific role and responsibilities.

3. The educational qualifications have to be mentioned after work experience. The education has a huge impact on our skills and personalities. It is important to highlight the institutes that you have been in to.

4. Highlight the important courses that you ahve attended during or after your education. They will give the impression of your knowledge. Also do write the trainings and certifications that you have received.

5. It is important for a Business Analyst to have extraordinary analytical skills. You need to mention all those achievements where your analytical skills were of high standards. You can even mention the activities and competition that you have participated in school or college level where you showed your analytical skills.

6. The communication skills of a Business Analyst have to be excellent as they have to interact with clients on regular basis. If you can show the strength of your communication skills through resume, it would be very helpful.

7. If you have led a team or displayed your leadership skills then you should highlight that part also. In consulting business, having leadership skills is of great value.
