We need to understand that Electronics Engineering is a subject field known by different names in the different parts of the world and in different universities. For example - in many colleges in India it is combined with Communication Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering etc. Similarly what they call Computer and Electrical Engineering in MIT, is pretty much same as what we have Electronics Engineering in India. Therefore I am going to mention the top colleges for Electronics Engineering by the subject field and not exactly by the course of the name, which essentially doesn't make much difference because you will study the similar subjects over there. Here are the top ten colleges in the world:

#1
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
United States
#2
Stanford University
United States
#3
University of California, Berkeley (UCB)
United States
#3
University of Cambridge
United Kingdom
#5
University of Oxford
United Kingdom
#6
ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology)
Switzerland
#7
Harvard University
United States
#8
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
United States
#9
Imperial College London
United Kingdom
#10
The University of Tokyo
Japan

Please note that there are no Indian colleges in the list. And that tells we are still way behind in terms of quality of education that our universities provide. But things have improved. And IITs are providing quality education. It will take some time for us to reach there.

Hope the information was helpful.
