Most students enter this sector as accountants with chartered accountancy furms, management firms and certified accountacy companies . Banking and insurance companies are also popular areas folowed by acturial work and financial services. Various career options in this field are :-

Chartered Accountants:- The requirements for becoming chartered accountant are :-
Enroll with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for common proficiency test after passing class 10th exmaination . Appear in CPT after appearing in 12th examination.

On passing CPT , enroll for group 1 or group 2 or for both group 1 and 2 of integrated professional competence course to become chartered accountant and clear both groups and complete required numbers of training hours.

Register for CA Final course

Appear in final examination on completion of required practical training

Company Secretary- To get admikssion in CS course , a student can study any subjects upto class 12 except fine arts. The course is conducted by institute of company secretaries of india, new delhi and there are three stgaes of the course :-
foundation course
intermediate course
final course

Cost and management accounts:-
After complering claas 12th ( any stream) , one needs to qualify in the foundation course exam of icwa course.The course is conducted in three stages i.e foundation, intermediate and final course


Banking

After 12th ( any stream) , a student can do an undergaduate and post graduate course in banking:-
BA in Banking
BBA Banking & Insurance
B.Com with Banking
BA in Banking Manahgement
MBA Banking

Actuarial Science :-

After 12th with Maths , a student can do an undergraduate programme in actuarial science. One can either enroll for B.Sc+M.Sc ( Dual degree in insurance) or register with Actuarial society of india,mumbai

After doing nay of the baove courses , one can pursue MBA Finance or do CFA Course.

Yes, you can get into it without maths too as suggested by Preeti - with respect to different courses to be studied to become financial planners
