Since you have not mentioned 12th which stream. In general terms I will suggest pursue a Graduation in your chosen stream.
Most importantly, will suggest, apply for scholarships. There are many private institutes, trusts especially temple trusts and NGOs that provide scholarship to deserving students. At the sametime approach your college authorities, since they would also have scholarship available and based on the students financial capacity can wave of some percent of the fees.
