Introduction

Beyond any doubt, during this prevailing pandemic of COVID 19, maintaining mental health is important. A person can cope up with stress and other related environmental changes and disturbances. It is not just the absence of depression, but at the same time, it helps all of us to stay in control even during difficult situations. Mental and emotional health are like important fiber in the fabric called life, as they balance your mood, behavior, and emotions. It also plays an important role in sustaining your relations and understands them in a much better way.

Why most of the population is facing mental issues now?


Unfortunately, in this era of modernization, our minds are revolving within the sphere of one word called, “CAREER”. Without thinking for a minute regarding our strengths and weaknesses. We try to follow the same path as the others are following and compete with them. It creates an unnecessary burden on our minds and, we usually start feeling depressed.

But do you think it to be wise? NO!! Every individual on this planet is unique. Having their capabilities and comparison with others is a big stupidity. Due to this very reason, today most people have lost their ability to think, respond, manage emotions, sustain relations and concentrate on their studies, then at last fall into the threatening web of attempting suicide.

There are many different ways in which you can engage yourself and sustain positive mental health. The following are some of how we can stabilize our mood and make ourselves happy:

As recommended by many doctors, physical activity is the key to manage all your stress and make yourself happy. It not only contributes to your physical fitness, but it even makes you mentally and socially fit.

Each food group in our diet has some significance to maintain the body healthy, so proper intake of nutrients is highly beneficial.

RECOGNISING YOUR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES

Rather than turning a blind eye towards mental issues, try to recognize them in a way that can be solved easily. If left untreated, it creates several anxiety issues and leads to physical ailments.

You can easily carry out mental health assessment in case you feel stressed, anxiety or depressed. It can be done by asking various questions yourself. This practice will help you analyze your inner self.

If you think that the condition is not in your control, ask for professional help. You can go to a psychologist or counselor. They can provide you guidance regarding managing your emotions, thereby support and guide you in a better way.
