Hi Puran, As such to be an Astronaut, engineering is the right qualification, but definitely a specialization in Mechanical or Aeronauticals.  But not to worry. Since there are other functions in the Space research team. As such you could be of help in the remote sensing or control team.  Thus you could pursue an M.Tech in Digital Sensing Technology For more information check:  Startr working with the Indian Space and Research centre and apply for a P.hD at USA. and then you could join the NASA team  But please note that to work with NASA, you need a minimum P.Hd degree and
