Absolutely right.

Please note, Career tests or Aptitude tests measures the child's acquired intelligence. Meaning, what the child has learnt over the period of time, through exposure to different means of learning.

Another aspect to this form of testing is knowing the innate potentials, i.e., the inborn potentials or talents the child is born with. This is done through Brain Mapping or Finger print analysis.
This is accurate too.

But since I have followed both the tests to help students, I am of the opinion that just knowing one innate potentials do not help to select a career. One must know if their innate talents have been used. And that is portrayed through the Aptitude Tests.

As a counselor, I would genuinely advise you to undergo an Aptitude tests and make a confirmed choice knowing you potentials.
